CONVENTION 2024   AUGUST 21-24, 2024

SACC rotates convention locations from East to West to Central areas.  This year we will in the East and will join with Corvettes at Carlisle in Carlisle Pa. for our annual convention.  When you register you will be provided web site information where you will make your reservation with our group.  Our host hotel is in a nearby small town with an easy drive to the Carlisle Fairgrounds.  The discounted room rate is $199.00 per night.

The National Board will hold its meeting at 9 AM on Wednesday, August 21, in the hotel meeting room.

The Chapter Representatives will meet with the board at 2 PM on August 21.

We will hold our welcome reception on Wednesday, August 21, at the hotel at 6 pm for all registered members.  It will kick off with a catered banquet there at the hotel.  Following the dining we will have an interesting guest speaker.  Following that our club honors someone who has helped the world enjoy C-1 Corvettes.  This honor is the Noland Adams Award.  Also we honor a club member who has been instrumental in the enjoyment and appreciation of solid axle Vettes.  This award is the Max Brockhouse Award.  Both of these awards will be presented at the banquet.  Immediately following the banquet festivities will be the Annual Meeting, all members of SACC can attend and vote.  The annual meeting consists of the financial info, update on happenings, plus voting for club officers.

Thursday we will host a Corvette workshop.  An alternate event will be offered for the spouses.

Thursday, the board and volunteers will set up our display tent at Corvettes at Carlisle.

We will again feature the gas station complete with a pair of pumps.

The location of the SACC tent is right inside the main gate.  Everyone who enters first sees the display
and the cars.

The Mid-Atlantic Chapter will host their annual chapter meeting here.

 Friday and Saturday, we will be enjoying Corvettes at Carlisle.
